The CCP (Certified Credit Professional), ACI (Associate Credit Institute)** and CCP(Emeritus) designations are highly respected and recognized throughout Canada as standards for excellence and integrity in credit management.

With 13 Chapters and 2 Forums across Canada the Credit Institute provides numerous educational programs, seminars and opportunities for networking events.

National Membership:
The pride, prestige and status of belonging to a National Association of credit professionals and the ONLY Canadian professional organization granting designations in Credit Management.

A National newsletter published four times per year and available to all current members.
Chapter Involvement:
Credit Institute of Canada has 13 Chapters and 2 Forums across Canada that provide opportunities for networking, educational programs, seminars, and social events. CCP’s can earn valuable Professional Development points by being involved.
Saskatchewan Chapter Benefits
- Discount to annual collections seminar put on by the Chapter lecturing on the latest trends in Credit Management. As well, notification of other seminars offered in Saskatoon & Regina throughout the year, which are conducted by other companies resulting in discounts for Chapter Members.
- Discount to dinner meetings currently being offered twice a year. These dinners feature key note speakers who address timely, credit related matters. This is an ideal setting for networking and interacting with fellow credit professionals.
- Discount to social events such as golf, curling, etc. to allow members to network.
- Prairie Credit & Collections newsletter published locally in Saskatchewan on a quarterly basis and is available to all current members.

Full access to professional and informative web sites for up to date information on the Credit Institute of Canada, Chapters, Seminars, and Conference, on-line enrollments and membership renewal.
Through the National Website, members can pay dues, update their information, check their professional development status and report activities, view course marks, print tuition tax receipts, access the membership directory and more. The Events section allows members and non-members to register for the biennial conference, webinars, seminars and academic courses.
Advocacy:
Educating members on issues and legislation, which affect credit professionals in Canada.
National Conference:
A conference is held every two years in Canada providing an opportunity to further credit related skills, and network with industry peers.
National Seminar Program:
Access to current, professional and industry related topics.
Referral Service:
For permanent placements, the Credit Institute of Canada will provide members with employment opportunities and employers with professional employees. For temporary positions, we have developed a strong relationship with Accountemps (div. of Robert Half Canada Inc.). A Robert Half Canada Inc. salary guide is sent to members annually and outlines the dollar value of your designation in the credit marketplace.
Lending Library:
Hundreds of titles relating to all facets of business are available to members on a loan basis.
Credit Institute Of Canada Handbook-Volume 1 and 2:
Your personal or company library is not complete without the CIC Handbooks 1 and 2. These informative reference books are a great source of credit reference.
Affinity Relationships:
The National Membership Committee is presently working on an infinity relationship program, which will offer discounts and savings to members. These relationships and offers will be posted on the web site.
